Siinä vaiheessa kun tiedostoja lähetysvaiheessa salataan on prosessorin kuormitus suurimmillaan, muutoin aika huomaamaton taustalla. Muistin määrällä tietysti vaikutusta tähänkin. Kyllähän tuo hitusen hidastaa – ei tosin sen enempää kuin normaali virustorjuntakaan.
